About Pro-Stringer
Pro-Stringer was the brainchild of Rubin Statham, ATP professional and Davis Cup player. Rubin observed his fellow players relying on different tennis stringers at each tournament. This often resulted in variable racquet tensions, hampering their performance on the court. It also required repeated restringing, adding enormous financial costs throughout each playing year. Rubin teamed with racquet designers and engineers from America and Korea with the aim of producing a portable, reliable and affordable tennis stringing machine. A prototype model was tested by Rubin and many other ATP/WTA and ITF world tour players, with excellent results. After 3 years of development and live testing, the Pro-Stringer was commercially released in 2011.
