Beyond Stringing

Pro Stringer was built to change the way players string. But our mission has always gone further than innovation alone. We believe tennis can open doors, build confidence, and create opportunity for the next generation.

Lock Tennis Foundation

Two Brothers, One Mission.

Long-time Pro Stringer ambassadors, and Zimbabwe Davis Cup players, Courtney and Benjamin Lock are the founders of the Lock Tennis Foundation. A nonprofit dedicated to empowering underprivileged children across Africa through tennis, education, and community development.

Pro Stringer is a founding partner of the Foundation and has directly supported their mission by donating stringing machines, string and accessories to over a thousand children in various schools. This initiative has provided young developing players access to professional-grade equipment and the resources needed to develop their game.

The Lock Tennis Foundation plans to expand throughout Southern and Central Africa, with Pro Stringer remaining loyally committed to all future projects and campaigns.

Opening the court to more players

Equipment is only the beginning. Access changes everything.

By helping young players train with reliable tools, we help give them something bigger than a machine — confidence, consistency, and a fairer chance to grow in the sport.

The next generation

This Is What It's For

Every Pro Stringer machine represents more than innovation. It reflects our commitment to growing the game, expanding access to tennis, and supporting the next generation of players.

Our ambassador and junior program allows competing players to save on stringing costs through discounted Pro Stringer machines and products.

Team NOA

For players with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences, the structure tennis builds can be transformative. We've provided a stringing machine and donated string so Team NOA's players train and compete on racquets strung properly every time.

Less waste. More tennis.

A More Sustainable Future

Alongside Pro Stringer's commitment to innovation, we are proud to partner with Tom Hands from @handsonsustainability — a global initiative committed to reducing the environmental footprint of tennis and driving a more sustainable future for the sport.

The partnership has established string and racquet recycling drop-off points in Africa and Europe, providing professional players with accessible ways to recycle used strings.

Pro Stringer is continually refining its manufacturing processes, product design, and global distribution network to minimise environmental impact and promote more responsible business practices.

ModuleX-2 or ModuleX-6: what’s the difference?

Choose the frame support that suits your setup. The mounting system is separate from the tensioning machine: select only a configuration offered for your product and sport.

Start with the support you need. The modular system allows compatible cross bars and supports to be added later. Changing from X6 to X2 requires the correct head support. Contact the team to confirm conversion parts.

  • ModuleX-2

The lightest setup to travel with.

  • ModuleX-6

ModuleX is compatible with CybeX and Platinum 3.0, not Platinum 1.0 or 2.0. For badminton and squash, ModuleX-6 is converted to a four-point configuration. Follow the guide for your racquet and use the required sport-specific clamps and adapters.
