I've been using the Pro Stringer 2.0 for 2 yrs now and had the initial set of clamps that came with it. I recently just upgraded to the 2.0 claws that work very very well. The automatic clamp adjustment for different string thickness and the convenience while use is amazing compared to the previous model and I am really enjoying using this. I would certainly recommend buying this if you want to replace or upgrade your stringing experience.

I recently purchased my Claws Clamp 2.0 Mirror, and I could not be happier! I am a parent of a high school tennis player and I decided to start stringing our own racquets. I was getting frustrated with my inconsistent results while stringing. I had to adjust the tension on my factory clamps higher than I recommended to prevent the string from slipping and ended up damaging the string. I was in a dilemma, damaged strings with consistent tension or nice strings and inconsistent tension. Before giving up, I decided to try the Claw Clamps 2.0 and I am glad that I did. I am now only losing about 1-2 pounds of tension on my racquets. As my knot tying gets better, I see that number improving as well! I have found these clamps easy to use, they feel great in the hand and absolutely work as advertised. Well done Pro Stringer!

I was thinking of upgrading my current drop weight stringing machine knowing my clamps are worn. I decided to give these claws 2.0 a shot to give my machine a 2nd chance and it sure did. It held the tension well down to the last string.

The functional design of these clamps really set them apart from others: the variable grip widths allow you to clamp the strings without pinching them, adjustment screw allows you to fine tune the gauge, and it’s easy to take apart for cleaning. Not to mention the build quality is superb given it’s all metal construction.
