Before you start: make sure your calibration setup is secure, and follow the instructions on the screen and in the video carefully.
Need a calibrator? Pro Stringer Calibrator
Step by step
- Attach your digital calibrator to the mounting system with a length of the string you normally use, routed as if you were pulling the first main. Turn the calibrator on and zero it.
- On the CybeX touchscreen, tap the gear icon, then the double-arrow button to open Settings page 2.
- Scroll down to Sensor calibration and touch and hold the Calibration button. The tension calibration screen opens.
- Read each step on the screen. At the zero step, touch the button while nothing pulls on the sensor; a beep confirms the sensor is zeroed.
- Pull tension against the calibrator. As the string stretches, the calibrator reading slowly drops: press the top button the moment it matches the number on the CybeX screen.
- Go back to the home screen and check a few tensions, for example 41, 51 and 61 lb. If the machine and the calibrator do not match, run the calibration again.
